A short introduction. My name is Alex, made in 1988 and I`m from Kosice - Slovakia. I work as senior application administrator in one of the bigest IT corporation in SVK. All of this sounds completely normal, boring, but I differ from most of my colleagues and acquaintances in one way - I`m an Asperger.
But this page is not about what I achieved, what I worked on and what I like. It is about me in a different sense of the word. About how I see
the world as an Asperger - adult Asperger. There are many professional publications on the internet about what people with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
are like, but it is general. Just as neurotypicals (NTs) are different, so we are.
I will focus on concepts that are unknown to many with an example of personal experience of the given situations. Or my view of the given "thing". I will refute the myths that are written/said about us and I will try to explain that a neurodivergent often "doesn`t look like anything" and can be anyone of you "wouldn`t say".
This page is intended both of new neurodivergents who struggle with diagnosis and self-diagnosis, as well as for neutorypicals who have a neurodivergent in their environment/family.
